PostScript Pass-through provides a workaround for rare cases where certain jobs do not print correctly. Conflicts can occur when using driver features such as booklet layout with an application that uses PostScript Pass-through.
To select PostScript Pass-through options:
- On the Advanced tab, click Driver.
- Click PostScript Pass-through. Select an option:
- Enabled allows the application to bypass the print driver and directly generate its own PostScript file for the print job. Selecting this option causes the application to overwrite some of the print driver settings.
- Disabled allows the print driver to generate the PostScript file for the job. If you experience compatibility problems, use this setting. Disabled produces reduced print quality, especially for EPS files, compared to the same driver with pass-through enabled.
- Click OK.
