Grayscale

Grayscale prints colors as variations of gray. Use it to adjust the grayscale color model for different documents. It is best for scanned black and white or color photographs that are being printed in black and white.

To select Grayscale options:

  1. On the Advanced tab, click Driver.
  2. Click Grayscale. Select an option:
    • Normal gives the best overall image quality. This option produces a soft contrast among various shades of gray.
    • Higher Contrast prints solid lines and sharp contrasts between shaded areas. This option is best for detailed line art or images.
    • Higher Brightness enhances the brightness of print jobs. This option gives exceptional quality and clarity to printed images from scanned originals.
  3. Click OK.
