The Subsets option allows you to select the number of pages to print as a subset for each print job. When you print multiple sets of a document, the printer applies finishing options to each subset so that it is easier to sort and handle documents. If you add covers, each subset includes a separate cover.

To select Subset options:

  1. On the Advanced tab, for Subsets, click Setup.
  2. For Subsets, select the check box.
  3. In Pages Per Subset, type the number of pages to include in each document subset.
  4. Click OK.
