Wi-Fi Help
Use this page to configure the wireless network.
SSID - Enter a Service Set Identifier, a unique network name.
Network Type - Select an option:
- Infrastructure provides the greatest selection of security options.
- Ad hoc provides only WEP encryption in most networks.

Security Settings - Select one of the options and enter the required information:
- WEP 64/128 - ASCII/Hex.
- WPA-PSK AES / WPA-PSK2 AES - Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key using Advanced Encryption Standard. Designed for home and small office networks.
- WPA-PSK TKIP - Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key using Temporal Key Integrity Protocol. Designed for home and small office networks.
- WPA-Enterprise AES / WPA2-Enterprise AES - Designed for enterprise networks, this requires an authentication server. Only available when optional HD is installed.
- WPA-PSK TKIP - WPA-Enterprise TKIP - Designed for enterprise networks, this option requires an authentication server. Only available when optional HD is installed.
Note: When configuring Wi-Fi settings for WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise, first upload the Root certificate for the Wi-Fi authentication server to the printer. After the Root certificate is uploaded into the printer, then configure the uploaded Root certificate as a Trusted Certificate Authority for Wi-Fi LAN Server. After the Root certificate is uploaded and configured, then proceed to configure the Wi-Fi settings for WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise.
When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
