LDAP Directory Help

Use this page to configure the LDAP server to look up email addresses stored on the network.

Server Information

To configure the LDAP server information, select the following options:

IP Address/Host Name & Port - Enter the LDAP IP address or host name and port number. The port default number is 389.

SSL - Click SSL to configure SSL.

Note: If the optional hard drive is installed and the HDD Data Encryption is enabled, the settings for
the LDAP-SSL/TLS appear. Ensure that you save all changes on the LDAP Server page before clicking
the SSL link to enable LDAP-SSL/TLS

Optional Information

To configure the optional LDAP server information, select the following:

Search Directory Root - Use this field to configure the LDAP search path.

Login Name - Enter the server login name.

Password - Enter the password of the server.

Re-enter Password - Verify the password.

Note: Note: The Login Name and Password fields are required for LDAP to function and cannot be left blank.

Search Time-Out - Specify type of time-out to use for the server. You can set the LDAP server to limit the time or set the time limit manually in the seconds field.

Search Name Order - Specify the method by which names are searched.

Server Email Address Book - Select On to enable the Network Address Book for Scan to Email.

Server Fax Address Book - Select On to enable Network Address for Fax.

When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
