PCL Settings Help
Use this page to configure the printer PCL settings.
To configure the PCL print settings, select the following options:
Paper Tray - Select from which paper tray to print.
Paper Size - Specify the paper size.
Custom Size - Y - Specify the length of your custom paper using a number in the range indicated.
Custom Size - X - Specify the width of your custom paper using a number in the range indicated.
Orientation - Set the paper to print in landscape or portrait orientation. The default setting is Portrait.
2-Sided Print - Specify 1-sided print or 2-sided print with the option of flipping the page on the long edge or the short edge.
Font - Select the type of font from the drop-down list. The default setting is Courier.
Symbol Set - Select the font used for symbols from the drop-down list. The default setting is ROMAN-8.
Font Size - Specify the default font size, from 4 through 50, in increments of 0.25 from the drop-down list. Available only for typographic fonts.
Font Pitch - Specify the character spacing pitch using a number in the range indicated. The default setting is 10.00.
Form Line - Specify the number of lines per form. You can specify a value from 5 through 128 in increments of 1. The default setting is 64.
Quantity - Specify the number of copies to print. You can specify a value from 1 through 999. The default setting is 1.
Image Enhancement - Set the image enhancement to make the boundary line between black and white smoother. The default setting is Enable.
Hex Dump - Enable the hex dump to print data sent from a computer in the ASCII code to verify the data contents in the hexadecimal notation format. The default setting is Disable.
Draft Mode - Enable to print in draft mode. The default setting is Disable.
Line Termination - Specify how the line terminates either with line feed or carriage return.
Default Color - Set the default color mode to Black or Color. The default setting is Black.
Ignore Form Feed - Select this check box to ignore a PCL form feed character if it generates a blank page.
When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
