Copy Defaults Help

Use this page to configure the Copy Defaults.

To configure the Copy Defaults, select the following options:

Color - Set the color mode to Color or Black and White.

Paper Supply - Specify the paper tray from which copies are printed.

Manual Feed Paper Size - Specify the size of the paper in the manual feed slot.

Manual Feed Paper Type - Specify the type of the paper in the manual feed slot.

Collated - Turn collated copies on or off.

Reduce/Enlarge - Reduce or enlarge copies by selecting one of the set percentages.

Custom Reduce/Enlarge - Reduce or enlarge copies by entering a custom percentage. To use Custom Reduce/Enlarge, first set the Reduce/Enlarge field to Custom.

Document Sizes - Specify the size of the original document.

Document Type - Specify the type of the original document.

Lighten/Darken - Lighten or darken the copied image.

Sharpness - Specify the sharpness of the copied image.

Color Saturation - Deepen or lighten the overall color levels of the copied document.

Auto Exposure - Turn Auto Exposure on and off when copying. Auto Exposure suppresses the document background of off-white colored paper. It also helps suppress show-through when copying 2-sided thin paper.

Auto Exposure Level - Adjust the level of the auto exposure functionality.

When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
