Image Shift

Image Shift allows you to modify the location of the image on the page. You can shift the printed image along the X and Y axes of each sheet of paper.

To set options for Image Shift:

  1. Click Print Settings > Image Options.
  2. Select the Color Correction subtab.
  3. Click Image Shift, then select an option.
    • Printer Default: Uses the default printer settings.
    • On (Setup): Use this option to switch on Image Shift and access the Image Shift settings.
    • Off: Use this option to switch off Image Shift.
  4. If you selected Image Shift On, for Image Shift Options, select an option.
    • Independent: Allows you to adjust the settings manually.
    • MirrorX: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance but in opposite directions along the X axis, simultaneously.
    • MirrorY: Allows you to move the images on both sides to an equal distance but in opposite directions along the Y axis, simultaneously.
    • MirrorBoth: Allows you to move the images on both sides to an equal distance but in opposite directions along the X and Y axes, simultaneously.
    • MirrorX, TandemY: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance, in opposite directions along the X axis and the same direction along the Y axis, simultaneously.
    • MirrorY, TandemX: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance, in opposite directions along the Y axis and the same direction along the X axis, simultaneously.
    • TandemX: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance and in the same direction along the X axis, simultaneously.
    • TandemY: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance and in the same direction along the Y axis, simultaneously.
    • TandemBoth: Allows you to move images on both sides to an equal distance and in the same direction along the X and Y axes, simultaneously.
  5. Enter the amount to shift the Side 1 page image along the X axis and the Y axis as required.
  6. If Side 2 is available, enter an amount to shift the page image along the X axis and the Y axis as required.
  7. Click OK.
