This product is middle of the road in many areas for my needs

I have a much older Xerox color laser printer which I still own but the toner has gotten more expensive than buying a new printer. The older printer is the best ever .The Versa 500 is very easy to use. The ouput time is great, the number of pages printed is certainly adequate a for home office use. However the toner is a different type than the older printer so the colors are washed out to a degree and not as clean or accurate to the actual colors I want printed. Toner is still very expensive so it would be nice to get better quality of colors printed. I will not buy in this line of printer again. I love working with Xerox but recenty they went to call back system or online help only and that is very discouraging while that is not a printer issue it certainly is a customer service issue. I would prefer to stay with Xerox but that change alone is asking me to explore other options for both the color laser printer which is a must for my work & the needed customer service to be able to call in for help. I still prefer Xerox as a company to support. The versa is fine for a mid range color laser printer and if that meets ones needs the price of it certainly a good choice.

Nice printer with cool features...

This is my first time using this product and the only complaint I have is how many times you have to change the media type. Other than that, it's GREAT!!!

Versalink C500 poor service

I purchased this machine on March 26, 2021. On March 30, 2021 had technical support help me install it to my computer. Upon following directions I got a paper jam that could not be pulled out. The technician requested that a service technician contact me to repair the problem. He said I would be contacted that day for an appointment. It never happened. I called on March 31st was told I would be contacted that day NO CONTACT I called on April 1st was told I would be contacted that day for an appointment NO CONTACT I was told they had the wrong zip code when it was checked everything was correct. AN EXCUSE I called on April 5th and was told it was a high priority and wsould be contacted that day. NO CONTACT Today is April 6th and still NO CONTACT POOR SERVICE or NO SERVICE I have contacted service multiple times NO RESPONSE

OK Printer

First, I am hard-wired into the printer, not wifi. Very slow first page. Goes to sleep mode way too quickly. Time-consuming having to push the button after you pull out the tray to load or change paper before printing. Have to push OK too many times to print a letter on letterhead and then an envelope and then back to bond paper. The memory will only print 5 or six pages of a report before pausing. I bought as much memory as they sell. Toner usage is better than average. Xerox support is OK, but to get warranty service you have to belong to some club thing that I think I belong to but find that I don't when I call and when I try to set up the club account I find I have an account I can't get in to. When I call the service team back they tell me I don't have an account. For that reason, tech support gets an "F".

Great printer

Really great overall printer. Economical and high quality prints. Had it for over a year and still works. Rated a bit lower on Ease of use because updating it wasnt working from the printer UI. But could update it by downloading the file manually. Can be a bit tricky to setup correctly, but this is same for any printer... Once its setup it delivers consistent results.

This product has the great features and looks great too.

This is a solid product and is easy to use. It fits the stand that I use perfectly. I like the way it prints fast and prints quality copies both 2 sided and single. The control panel is really great because it tilts up where it is easy to read while sitting at the computer. The other item I like is that it lets me know when the print job is finished even if it is 1 copy or multiple copies. I am enjoying a job well done with this printer.
