We have 4 people who use this product on a network. It has been great. Speed of scanning to email is a must for us and this printer exceeds are expectations. The ease of app and touchscreen display are a wonderful feature. Would definitely recommend.
Our office reluctantly switched to this printer from the Xerox solid ink printers. It is definitely an inferior product to the solid ink machines. We had been using solid ink printers since 1999 (I believe) and this printer does not compare to any of the solid ink models we had over the 20 year span - as far as quality, ink consumption and service calls.
Others may find this printer works fine for their needs, but for our office, after having the quality and "work horse" stability of the solid ink machines - it is a step down and disappointment.

We previously had a very large standing Xerox that took up a ton of space. This product works better and takes up very little space. It also has great technology and is so easy to use. I would highly recommend this model.
VersaLink C405 has given me nothing but problems and is unusable after 2 weeks that I bought for my business
VersaLink C405 was hard to set I even got the wifi addon but it was very hard to set up then quit working and after not even 2 weeks the colors went haywire so I replaced factory cartridges with brand new ones I bought when I purchased the printer and the problem persists. It keeps telling me the yellow is out and I just put it in so that's annoying I am not a mechanic but I would defiantly call this printer a lemon. Now I am not only out a printer but 4 toner cartridges which are not cheap. I can't afford to pay a xerox tech to fix it so I am out a lot of money. I figure Xerox won't post this review because it is not a good image so I am probably wasting my time but they asked me to review the printer.

When I purchased this printer new from Dell, I could not get it to work properly. I kept getting a communications error. Both the printer and computer were brand new from Dell, so was there an interface issue? However, Dell service techs could not get it to work right either, and they told me to just call Xerox. A year or so later, it finally starting working fine. I do like the printer now, quick and great copies. Maybe it was one of the later updates that fixed it.
