Tough to diagnose

I loathe using the printer as if it errors out, it's tough to figure out what the problem is and reset it. Gotta be a simpler interface

we have 3 of the same copiers to make up one unit!

We purchased our first copier a couple of years ago. We had multiple issues with it. A couple parts on the copier failed and had to be replaced, when printing we got a pink or yellow line down the middle of the page, it made a horrible noise when printing and another part needed to be replaced. We got it working and ordered another one for back up. We went with the same model because we didn't want to have 2 different operating systems and 2 different types of cartridges. The first machine now can only scan because the part to fix it with labor was going to be about what a new one would cost. We got the 2nd copier and then needed a back up since #1 was only used for scanning. So enters #3. The second and third ones work well for the most part but they have a real delay in printing from our desk across the room to the copier and several times a week one stops printing and we have to reboot it. The fax option also has to be toggled between both machines quite frequently because that stops working on one and we switch it out. So would I recommend this product to others? No. but we are getting by with what we have because we have a lot of money tied up in these machines.

I love the clarity and the color

It works great, the only problem I have is it takes a few seconds to start the printing process. Love the color and clarity. Easy enough to figure out what to do for different functions.

WORST MACHINE EVER PURCHASED

The machine is not user friendly. Switching between printing on paper and printing envelopes was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Also, printing on copy paper and then printing on checks was not automatic. If you switched the kinds of paper, you had to reset the machine, even if they were the same size. If you ever had a jam, which was often, you can forget about resetting it. You had to unplug the machine to reset. When you did this, you lost everything in the print queue. Finally replaced it with a Brother machine and it has performed remarkedly.
