This is the procedure for installing your Xerox color printer on a TCP/IP network using Windows NT, when the installation is on an Intel-based computer. Note: If you are using a Token Ring card, the card must be installed in the printer. If the card is not yet installed in the printer, install it now.

1. Connect the printer to the network (click the type of interface you are using):
• Built-in Ethernet interface. Special instructions are available for a direct Ethernet connection between a single computer and the printer.
• Token Ring card.
2. Print a configuration page.
3. Choose the installation procedure appropriate for your environment:
• For installation on a server to support client-server printing or for installation on a workstation for peer-to-peer printing, see Installation on servers or on workstations for peer-to-peer printing.
• For installation on workstations when print jobs are to be sent through a print server to the printer, see Installation on workstations for client-server printing.

This completes the configuration.
