This is the procedure for installing your Xerox color printer on NetWare networks using Windows. Click the links below to obtain detailed instructions on each step. After completing each step, use your browser's back button to return to this page.
Note: If you are using a Token Ring card, the card must be installed in the printer. If the card is not yet installed in the printer, install it now.
- Connect the printer to the network (click the type of interface you are using):
- Print a configuration page.
- The PhaserShare Administrator is the preferred tool for printer configuration in this environment. If you have not yet installed the PhaserShare Administrator, install it now.
- Use the PhaserShare Administrator to set up the print server (printer) and to set up queues. You may also need to set the IPX frame type from the printer's front panel.
This completes the configuration.
