This is the procedure for installing your Xerox color printer on EtherTalk or TokenTalk networks using a Macintosh computer. Click the links below to obtain detailed instructions on each step. After completing each step, use your browser's back button to return to this page.

Note: If you are using a Token Ring card, the card must be installed in the printer. If the card is not yet installed in the printer, install it now.

1. Connect the printer to the network (click the type of interface you are using):
• Built-in Ethernet interface. Special instructions are available for a direct Ethernet connection between a single computer and the printer.
• Token Ring card.
2. Print a configuration page.
3. Set up your Macintosh Ethernet port for EtherTalk.
4. Check the printer's name and zone on the page. If you need to change them, click the following links for instructions:
• Changing your printer's name.
• Changing your printer's EtherTalk/TokenTalk zone.

This completes the configuration.
