Phaser® 840: Cleaning for media jams at the upper tray |

- To clean for media jams at the upper tray, open the front cover and remove the maintenance drawer.
To avoid personal injury, take care not to touch hot surfaces.
- Using an alcohol soaked wipe, clean the media pick roller.
Scrub the top surface of the roller thoroughly. If the cloth becomes dirty, discard it and use another.
- Put the maintenance tray back in, and close the front cover.
- Remove the media tray.
- Reach in and scrub the bottom surface of the pick roller thoroughly.
- Replace the media tray.
