Install or Reseat the Fuser

The fuser is missing or installed incorrectly. Install or reseat the fuser.

1. Turn off the printer, wait at least 10 seconds.



2. Push up the latch on the left side of the printer to open Left Door A.

Warning: Use caution, some components behind the left door may be hot.



3. If the fuser is present, reseat it.
   1. Loosen the screws on each side of the fuser.

   

   2. Pull the fuser slightly out of the printer.

   

   3. Push the fuser completely into the printer.

   

   4. Tighten the screws on each side of the fuser. Do not over-tighten because you can damage the screw holes

   

4. If the fuser is not present, install the fuser.
5. Close Left Door A.



6. Turn on the printer.
