SNMP Help

This page enables you to configure the settings for SNMP. Hosts must have Set and Get Community Names defined in their applications to access the printer using SNMP. If any changes are made to the Get, Set, and Trap Community Names for the printer, then each application that uses the SNMP protocol to communicate with the printer requires a corresponding Get, Set, and Trap Community Name.

Enable SNMP - Select this checkbox to enable SNMP.

Get Community Name - Enter the Community Name used for read-only access, up to 31 characters in length.

Set Community Name - Enter the Community Name used for read/write access, up to 31 characters in length.

Trap Community Name - Enter the Community Name used for trap notification, up to 31 characters in length.
