Finisher Failure

A problem has occurred in the finisher. If the front panel shows a:

• Stacker lower tray failure — Printing continues but prints are sent to the Standard Output Tray.

• Punch failure — Printing continues but prints are not punched.

• Finisher failure — Printing continues but prints are sent to the Standard Output Tray.

To fix the problem:

1. Record the error displayed on the front panel.

2. Press the i button to view information about the error and record the error code number listed at the end of the information text.

3. Turn off the printer.
   
   

4. On the back of the printer, unplug the finisher from the printer.
   
   

5. Plug the finisher into the printer. Verify that the plug is securely fastened.
   
   

6. Turn on the printer.
