A connection to the printer could not be made. The printer may be offline, malfunctioning or busy.
Verify the following items, then resubmit your print job:
Confirm that the printer is powered on and displays Ready.
Confirm that the printer is connected to the network or your computer.
Confirm that the printer functions by printing a page using the printer's front panel Information Pages menu.
If the printer is on the network:
Contact your network administrator for assistance.
Verify that you have provided
the correct TCP/IP
address for the printer. Print the Configuration Page from the printer's
front panel to verify that it is not reporting a Duplicate IP
message. If there is a Duplicate IP
message, change the IP
address for the printer or for the other device.
Note: To print
the Configuration Page: At the printer's front panel, select Information,
then press the OK button. Select
Information Pages, then press
the OK button. Select Configuration
Page, then press the OK
button to print.
