SNMP Settings Help
SNMP is a set of protocols designed to help manage complex networks.
SNMP-compliant devices store data about themselves in MIBs and return this data to the
SNMP requesters.

CentreWare IS.

CentreWare IS.
Printer Location (System Location) - Allows you to specify the printer's location. This can also be set from various other pages within

IP Trap Host(s) - This field allows you to specify the IP addresses of the members of the trap host list. You can also enter

yyyyyyyyyyyy is the hexadecimal node address. The network and node addresses can be abbreviated by removing any leading zeros.
Note: The maximum number of characters that can be supported for
IP Trap Host(s) and
IPX Trap Host(s) together cannot exceed
255 characters.
Authentication Failure Trap - Turn this feature on if you want the printer to notify the
Trap Host(s) of attempts to change variables over
SNMP which use an unauthorized community name.
