Moving Your Printer
After turning the printer off, Tektronix recommends that you let the printer cool down for a minimum of 20 minutes before moving it. This provides sufficient time so that the ink inside the printer has time to solidify.
Caution:
Failure to allow enough cooling time for the ink to solidify can result in ink spills that may damage the printer's internal components.
Keep the printer level as you move it. If you move the printer a long distance (transport it in a car or airplane), replace the shipping block to protect the printhead and empty the waste bin. See the topics
