You can upgrade the printer memory to 22 Mbytes by purchasing memory in 4-Mbyte SIMMs. In general, more memory means improved imaging performance, improved network performance, high-resolution printing, and PCL5 emulation. Expanding printer memory also provides more storage for downloadable fonts.
