Phaser 300X

Printing from VMS workstations

For printing from VMS workstations, the optional PhaserSym software provides all the standard OpenVMS printing and queue management functions. It also includes additional features for selecting Tektronix printer options.

PhaserSym software is compatible with DEC workstations running OpenVMS version V5.4 or higher, or OpenVMS-AXP (Alpha) version V1.0 or higher.

PhaserSym software communicates over the printer's optional TCP/IP Ethernet interface, and is required for proper communication with the printer under VMS.
