Installing the printer's software
To install and use a driver with your printer, follow the steps outlined in the following table.

Step 1: Install the printer's software

Step 3: Set up the driver

Step 4: Use the driver's options

See "Installing the printer's software" to install the printer's software, then continue with driver setup. Windows 95: Microsoft PostScript driver
  • Use this driver if you prefer the standard Microsoft PostScript driver for Windows 95.

    Windows 95: AdobePS 4 Driver
  • Use this driver if you are using the PhaserMatch software.
  • Use this driver if you prefer Adobe's PostScript driver for Windows 95.
  • This driver offers unique features, such as N-Up and Watermark.

    Windows 3.1: AdobePS 3 Driver
  • Use this driver with Windows 3.1.

    Windows NT: Microsoft PostScript driver
  • Use this driver with Microsoft Windows NT.

    Note:If you are going to use the PhaserMatch application, you must install both the PhaserMatch application and one of the provided Adobe drivers on the printer's CD-ROM. The drivers contain support files required for using the PhaserMatch application.
