  • A computer with an Intel® Pentium® or newer processor
  • Microsoft Windows® XP SP3 or above, Windows Vista SP2 or above, or Windows 7

  • 512 MB RAM, 1 GB recommended
  • 500 MB of free hard disk space for application files plus 20 MB working space during installation
  • SVGA monitor with 256 colors; 16-bit color (called Medium Color in XP and Vista) and 800 x 600 pixel resolution recommended

  • To save DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files (for Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel and PowerPoint) should have or install Microsoft .NET 3.0 Framework on Windows XP. The different XPS related conversions do not require having Microsoft .NET 3.0 Framework installed.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 is needed to save DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files (for Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or to load and save XPS files
PSP Server 3 for Xerox Scan to PC Desktop
The server component (PaperPort PSP server) will be designated and tested for quality on the below operating systems in all languages noted in section 1.2 of this document:
  • Windows XP Professional with SP3, 32-bit
  • Windows Server 2003 with SP2, 32 or 64-bit
  • Windows 7 with SP1, 32- or 64-bit
  • Windows Server 2008 with SP2, 32 or 64-bit
Note: Windows XP is not recommended as a server platform. There is an inherent limitation in the number of connections that XP allows and this explicitly limits the number of devices and users that an XP “server” could reasonably support.
The server component also requires an internet browser; Internet Explorer 7 or higher is recommended.
