These recommendations are based on tests performed with 300 dpi black and white scans. The test workflow utilized optical character recognition (OCR) and stored the documents in a Windows folder that was located on the same server where the ScanFlowStore application was loaded.

20,000 scanned pages a day is the maximum one server can process. When more than 20,000 scanned pages must be processed per day, the load must be spread out between multiple servers.

Maximum number of MFPs per ScanFlowStore server

The number of MFPs managed by one server is irrelevant. What is critical is the number of scanned pages that are delivered to the server per day. It doesn’t matter if, for example, 20 MFPs each deliver 1,000 pages a day, or if 1,000 MFPs each deliver 20 pages a day.
