Captaris® RightFax® System Requirements

For best performance, we recommend that the Captaris RightFax software is installed on a dedicated server/computer. The minimum requirements are:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Standard or Enterprise) SP2; Windows 2000 Server (Standard and Advanced) SP4
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, SQL Server 2005 (Standard or Enterprise Editions), SQL 2000 Server (Standard or Enterprise)
• Microsoft XP Professional SP2, Windows 2000 Professional SP4
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2
• 2.4 Gigahertz (GHz) or higher Pentium IV compatible CPU
• 1 Gigabyte (GB) memory
• Installed programs require 1.2 GB* hard disk
• Supports single and dual Central Processing Unit (CPU) systems
• CD-ROM or DVD drive; SVGA (800x600) or higher resolution monitor; keyboard

* Hard disk minimum requirements do not include space for storage of document images. To calculate needed disk space, we recommend using an estimate of 35kb per page.
