Design 101: Newsletters Planning - Step 3Step 3 of 6:Figure out who does what. Even if you're creating the newsletter "single-handedly," chances are that other people will still be involved somewhere along the way. Will you be using text written by anyone else? Is someone else taking pictures or creating graphics. If you're working with a staff, it's important to assign duties early on. Make sure that duties are clear, so that you don't suffer confusion or delays down the line. It can be difficult to find content for monthly newsletters, so consider creating "columns" that will be written by the same people, issue after issue. Columns require some kind of a focus, such as "Widgets of the rich and famous," or "A Widget buyers guide to the world." Then it becomes the individual columnist's responsibility not yours to come up with new ideas for every issue. | |||||||
