Phaser 7500
Our Phaser is a perfectly good piece of equipment but it does not go above and beyond expectations.
The print quality is generally good. However, sometimes with intense blacks the ink will seem to melt and smudge fairly badly. Ink usage is fairly conservative but the cost of cartridges is high, as expected.
We have no major complaints with this printer, it does its job and and we're going to keep it, but we're not wowed either.

Great quality, fast speeds
This printer works great in my classroom where my drafting student print to it constantly.

With reservations
This product seems to hang up at certain times such as getting out of sleep mode, and printing a PDF document. That said, the print quality itself is good. The method of replacing toner is much easier and not messy like earlier models. So I recommend it with reservations. We've had it only 5 months so give me 5 more and I may give it a higher rating. Each printer seems to have its own idiosyncrasies.

I would recommend this printer for any business
The Xerox Phaser 7500 has been perfect for our business. We use this printer for quite a bit of material including statments for our customers and various marketing materials. The quality is superb. We are able to get vibrant color in the tones we desire.
We are a medium sized company of about 300 employees and quite a few people send jobs to our print operator who utilizes this printer. With moderate to heavy use, this machine has held up great. We have had to do normal maintenance, but have not had major issues.
I would definately recommend this printer to any company that is looking for a reliable work class printer with great print qaulity.

Exceeded my performance expectations at a great price
This printer works great in both Mac and Win platforms. Very easy to setup and install. Color quality and speed output is better than expected for the price. The greatest advantage is the tabloid (11"x17") size media capability which allow us to avoid the use of our high maintenance plotter except for oversize and broadsheet products. The toner prices are quite high, around the $350 mark but they seem to last forever. With regular use, the most consumed toner color ran out after 6 months of use!. The manual feed tray took a little insight to get working properly but it is highly reliable once setup correctly. As a bonus, we were able to trade in a old broken HP laserjet printer to qualify for several hundred dollars rebate to get this Phaser 7500. I am recommeding this to our other business units that require color prints in tabloid size or want to reduce their price per page printing cost.

Great results with every print
My Phaser 7500 has been one of the best purchases I've made for my business. I'm a graphic designer and am happy to say the the Phaser has helped me print many jobs for my clients and allows me to control the quality of output rather than crossing my fingers when heading to the local print shop. The print quality has been wonderful since it's first print job and the way xerox sets up pay per copy and options for purchasing toner a breeze. I would highly recommend this product!

From an IT perspective
Our graphics/marketing person loves the printer and would recomend. From IT view it has been a great printer. The cost with rebates and trade in allowed us to get approval for purchase. The design is superior in the fact that all components are replacable seperatly, toner, fuser, waste bucket... The only issue is toner is a bit expensive but still worth the value.

As long as long-run color isn't critical ...
An all in all good printer. I wish some kind of finisher was available for it though.
Anyway, The printer is awesome for everyday office printing, and light production of average coverage jobs. However, not so hot for heavy coverage prints, the printer seems to get "tired" and as the imaging units wear down throughout the job, copy 1 has drastically different color from copy 2,500, and unfortunately most of our production is very color critical.
When the time comes to replace imaging or transfer units, be prepared to spend a good piece of your day uttering some choice expletives, while you balance & adjust the colors. Once adjusted, its a workhorse, but alas, your back to square one with your next imagining unit replacement,
On the other hand, we grossly underestimated our printing volume, and should have sprang for a DocuColor as we consistently shatter the recommended monthly volume by at least double or more.
