Good Printing - if you have enough part replacement money Quality and speed is good. Just be ready to replace cartridges, imaging units, collection trays, and many other pieces and parts. Most all of them will cost $200 - $300 apiece. Although, less expensive than color printing per page at Kinko's, the operational close of this printer will come close to them. We will never buy a Xerox printer again. May 14, 2012

Good machine, reliable We have been using the 7400 for about 6 years now and in that time we have had 1 or 2 issues with it. 1) The keypad failed in the 3rd year 2) The plastic gear for the waste tonner broke in the 5th year Only major issue is the cost of the toner; to replace every color is over $1000.00 which for a $5000.00 printer seems over priced! That is not including if the imaging units have to be replaced, but that has happened twice in the time we have owned it. All in all a good machine (cost of toner aside). May 10, 2012

Good printer, with ability to use 12" by 18" in tray. This printer has served me well for over 4 years now, but cost of supplies seem to have increased over this time. May 10, 2012

A real workhorse We've had our Phaser for 5 years and it still prints as well as it did in 2006. We use it every day to print our proofs before our newspaper goes to press, and the color is very reliable. My only complaint is that you can buzz through ink pretty fast, but on the other hand, we do print dozens of 11x17 pages every day. October 27, 2011

Phaser 7400 = Lemon We've had nothing but trouble after the first year of purchasing our Phaser 7400. Quality was great and speed good for a while then we started getting quality issues, failing toner cartridges showing empty even though they are full. Even the Xerox certified technician that came out to fix it damaged it further. I will never buy a Xerox printer again. October 25, 2011
