To costly to maintain
The print quality is great but the printer cost so much to maintain! I cannot afford to continue using it. The toner is extremely expensive and does not last. I have gone through 2 full sets of color cartridges 4 of them being the high yield and have only printed 2,000 pages.
Additionally if you buy this product for cardstock use beware you can only use up to 30# paper on the duplex or else it will jam. 100# paper will go through but it will not duplex.
The memory that comes with it is not much and if you are printing any kind of graphic files that are large to it you will be waiting on it to spool for some time.
I am extremely disappointed in this product.

quality is superb but overall unhappy with the rest
This printer prints great quality prints. However the interface is clunky it takes a VERY long time to send a graphic job to the printer (15-20minutes) over usb or ethernet and there is no color adjusting option both on the driver or on the printer itself.
The driver settings are pretty primitive for a printer of this price. also registration is out 1/8th of an inch on duplex from front to back.
final comment ive printed about 200 sheets (approx 15% coverage) on my new printer and toner is down to 60% already

Excellent Color Laser Printer!
I bought this printer for my home office and overall this is a very nice color laser printer. It's very fast and the print quality is way better than I expected. It printed #10 envelopes with ease and perfect alignment through the bypass tray. It printed on 28lb paper and it doesn't seem to have much difficulty with 60lb paper either!
The print quality is stunning and does very good with photos even on standard 24lb laser paper. I think an inkjet does marginally better with photos, but this is really great as far as color lasers go! The documents and charts look like they were printed with an offset printing press!
Setup was a little tricky as I was connecting through a network, but I liked how Xerox had explanation tabs to click on for each network setting to give a better idea of which selection to make.
The only thing now that I think I might whish was different though is the operating cost over the long run. Seems like it's going to be a little high.

No colour adjustment
This printer has no user colour adjustments so if you like prints with a magenta hue this is just the printer for you.
A full page image takes nearly four minutes to print from a USB connection,it's really a question of minutes per page not pages per minute.
I had this printer for five weeks and was so fed up of the poor colour output that cannot be adjusted that I gave it away.
The quality of the toner is excellent but having no colour adjustment makes this a moot point.
Xerox staff are helpful and the service is good,I would have liked to have kept the printer but was not at all happy with the colour output.
I very much doubt this review will be posted.

Overall the Phaser 6600 Performance is Outstanding!
The Phaser 6600 unit performs welll under any conditions. In the past month I have ran the unit to its maximum limits and everytime, I got my money worth in great printing.
