WorkCentre™ 4260 4.1 5 13 14 Don't do it - WC4260XF This copier was touted as the best for our office. I want to give it back. It needs to warm up the scanner before making a copy or fax unless it's used every few minutes. It stops me cold in my tracks every time! So much for making a quick copy. The Ricoh we had got the job done. This Xerox gets used about every 20 minutes but still goes into cool down mode even though the tech's have set the "sleep" mode to start after 2 hours of non use. The power-down button won't respond 1/2 the time either at the end of the night. This unit needs a firmware update to deal with these problems. January 17, 2012 Work horse for a small office We have 8 workstations that all print to this machine. Additionally it is the dedicated fax machine for all office needs. It remains reliable with only few glitches that service techs are able to repair easily. Also the use of it for scanning to our office server so that each employee can have have a folder of their scanned documents has increased our efficiency as well. Wish the on-board memory for the machine housed documents was larger so that our interns could easily access more documents they need regularly without accessing the main office server. October 28, 2011 This printer has been nothing but problems Ever since leasing this printer at our small office about a year ago we have been plagued with ongoing problems. It takes forever to warm up, is so prone to paper jams, and the "scan-to-email" functionality has been so spotty that we have been through 2 tech support people who cannot explain why it continues to disconnect from our network. Would NEVER recommend this product. June 8, 2011 Fast cost effective The fastest machine out there for the money with Xerox quality... They hit the nail on the head with this one! I like that everything you need is right at your hands, faxing, copying, email and much more. I would deffinately recommend this product to anyone. March 17, 2011 Workhorse Great printer for a small office. It does need quite a while to warm up though. Often after you press copy it says, "warming up" then it warms up, then you have to press the copy button again. It would be nice if you pressed the copy button it would warm up and then copy with out you having to press the button again. March 16, 2011 WE LOVE IT! The Xerox Workcentre 4260 has been an excellent fit for our company. It is very helpful to have one machine to do so many different jobs.
