This is a great office printer!
The WorkCentre 4150 is a great printer/copier for a busy small office. It is easy to use and has all the features a busy small office needs, in a easy to use format. We've had this machine for over 3 years now and have not had any problems with it whatsoever! I highly recommend this product!

This is product is so simple to use
If you want a machine that works when you need it, isn't high maintenance, and most people can figure out with a few pushes of the virtual buttons, this machine is for you.
My favorite feature is being able to set up my next printing function while it's currently working on my present task.

This machine has multiple problems
The upper tray feeddogs repeatedly fail and do not pull the paper. Scanning is the next problem. It will not scan a large, 30 page, document without splitting it in to two different docs. It is also slow to wake up and print

Average performance; parts don't hold up.
I liked this machine at first, but we have run across several issues that have had to be resolved after lengthy investigations. the parts do not hold up well and the software/firmware used are very sensitive.

It is OK
I like the multi function of this machine however we have had some issues with the paper jamming. It has been resolved but was a pain to deal with. I also don't like how long it takes to receive the information and then print even one single page document. The menu can get a little confusing to work through with the multi job function but it probably goes with the territory of having a machine like this. It is overall a good machine just a few items that can be irritating.

Xerox
We are very dissapointed in this machine. I have to keep restarting the machine in order to work.

Way to Go, Xerox
My Xerox copier performs as well as expected. I did have some difficulty in my initial startup efforts-- telephone tech support sent the same startup chip twice that didn't resolve the issue and it took a service technician to come onsite and discover what was actually needed to get the copier up and running. Since then it has been dependable. Thanks Xerox.

Buggiest Xerox MFP ever.
I am a Xerox analyst. I have been working on Xerox MFPs for 14 years. The WorkCentre 4150 is the worst Xerox MFP I have ever worked on. Yes, the print quality is fine and the use of it is good, I mean it was the first inexpensive MFP made by Xerox saving the cost by eliminating 11x17 paper. However, ever single customer that we have that has one has had very odd and bizarre issues with them. Issues being, scanning templates mysteriously disappearing. Machine rebooting on its own. Odd random error messages popping up when scanning. Scanning and getting a CONFIRMED message...but then it prints out a failed confirmation report? Centreware changes not even being saved no matter how many times you use a different browser or a different computer! XSA accounts now working, scanning templates that do no have the document path field. SPAR updates that mess up where a tech has to replace the hard drive, SMTP communication becoming corrupted until you do a memory clear on them.... and the list goes on. I have work on DC 220s, 230s, 332, 340, 4xx series, 5xx series, WC and WCP 35/45/55, 2xx series, 165/175, WorkCentre 56xx WorkCentre 57xx series, WC4250, WC4260, Phaser 3635MFP, WC and WCp 123/128/133 series, WC52xx series, M20i, WC4118, but have *NEVER* had as much trouble as the WorkCentre 4150. It is the absolutely worst black and white MFP Xerox has EVER developed!
